I wanted to try using some expired sunflower and canola I had oil for something useful. I filled a can with oil and suck some cardboard in for a wick and lit it. I actually wound up putting the can inside a larger can for added safety. The snuffer/lid is the bottom of a Kroger's coffee can. It's not pretty, but since the metal cans will be recycled shortly after I run out of oil, they don't need to be.

Step 1: That's It!

Stuff with cardboard, fill oil, light and burn. The oil is very safe to refill compared to alcohol. You may need to add more wick material after refilling. The lid/snuffer is the bottom of a coffee can.
