Introduction: Veggie Frittata!
It's yummy, filling and has every nutrient: carbs, a little bit of lipids and protein! Perfect! Plus it's delicious, I assure you :3
Step 1: What You'll Need:
- 2 eggs.
- Red, green and yellow peppers. Quantities are absolutely adjustable to taste.
- 2 baby carrots.
- Already fried onion, or you could cook it with your peppers as well.
- Turkey breast. I used 3 small slices.
- One cheese slice. Not pictured.
And a non-stick frying pan.
Step 2: First:
Chop your veggies and your turkey breast. And the onion if you want to cook it yourself. In medium-high heat pour your ingredients into the pan with some water or oil to cook them. Let the veggies cook for at least 10 minutes, putting water more water into the pan each time it evaporates or stirring from time to time if you used oil or butter.
Step 3: Second:
Cover the pan and whisk your eggs. Add the onion to the eggs, if already fried. I went with some cheese at the end, you know, to give it a kick.
Step 4: Third: Cook!
Pour the rest of the mixture into the greased pan and cover. Let it cook for one minute on each side and take it out.
