my son just did this experiment and is now facing bomb manufacturing charges with the possibility of getting 2 class c felony charges. he is 13 and has never got into trouble before this

I don't know what to say. I am so sorry. When I posted this I was 13 as well and never thought there were legal repercussions this serious. I hope everything works out for you and I will be removing this tutorial.

if you wont to do it better all you have to do is add alkacellzers the little circle pills u take when u r sick and crush them up and put that in there with your ingredients and if u wont to do damage put sharp light parts of glass and make shore they are real small no longer then a 1/2 a inch that is a simple granade im telling u this cauze i dont know how to post it i also no how to make bombs that can explode massively.

i used baking powder and vinegar and it wold have worked but it didntcome out of the bag fast enough so most of the compressed air was coming out before i even put the lid on and it nearly shot thru my hand cuz there was some still n there and i opened the bottle and sounded likle a gunshot!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! XD XD

I walked up and it was totally pressured, almost all the lines in the side of the bottle were gone. I threw it again and BANG. sounded like our 12G shotgun. XD

Good job man. I used to do this with my brothers except I would fold the baking soda up in a couple of paper towels. Looks like your method is much easier to control. I did manage to get it to work with 20oz soda bottles I don't remember the ratios though (probably 'cause I never measured anything).
The best thing about using these 2 chemicals is that if your a little close when it goes off they won't hurt you except maybe stinging your eyes a little.

Me and my lil bros me these all the time.We tried puting air soft bb's in them but that didn't work. .I think we need to glue them on the out side.20oz soda bottles are better.

These things don't always explode, meaning it's kind of dangerous to go right up to one that hasn't gone off. It's fun to shoot them with a pellet gun right before they pop, it makes a loud bang too.

Chlorine and Alchohol works a lot better and makes a louder "boom", however it is also a lot more dangerous than baking soda and vinigar.

Hehey! Speaking of local police, one of my neighbors in my alley is a cop, and without realizing it I threw it right in his driveway. The sound resembled that of either a shotgun or a real bomb.

hate to ruin this cause its so fun but i got some news: my friends and i were doing these and my mom wanted to see them work. i threw it and my mom was only a couple feet away and the bottle hit her chest hard and ripped a hole right through her shirt. the bruise looked like a high powered paintball gun. all im saying is keep ur distance and be really careful...otherwise these are harmless.

i had one blow up in my hand once. it was funny but if u want more use a vinager bottle u can throw it in the air and hope the cap hits the ground. Everytime i did this the bottom was blown off it looked like it was cut off.

wat im gonna do is get a bottle fill it wath vinegar and some food coloring(for colorful effect)get a sealed bag filled with baking soda and put it in with the vinegar and add some thumbtacks close the bottle and when ur ready just shake and throw
