This bag is perfect in so many ways! The size makes it small enough to take along, but big enough to hold just about everything your heart desires.  The vinyl lining allows for spills and messes to be cleaned up easily, and offers a leak-resistant inner core. It cane even be used as a wetbag for cloth diapering families!

Step 1: Materials

The finished size of this cosmetic bag is 9″ long, 5″ tall and 5″ wide.

You need:

-Fabric. I used 2 fat quarters and cut them to 14″ by 21″. You don’t have to use fat quarters, just cut 2 pieces of fabric to 14″ by 21″.

-One 14″ zipper

-One piece 14″ by 21″ fusible vinyl

-One scrap piece of fabric 1.5″ by 3″ for zipper tab

Will the inside have rough edges. If so, is it possible to finish them with the serger.

The insides will have rough edges. You can most definitely serge them, I just didn't own a serger at the time I made the bag. :)
