Step 3: Attaching the eyes and mittens

So next I sewed on each little eye very slowly. Because I am a novice when it comes to a sewing so my motto is slow and steady! After each one had the eyes attached and any excess felt was trimmed it was time to stitch up the ( as my friend says) the flappy parts. The opening of the mitten, so that nothing frays. Now it is time to attach that mitten to the fabric. Place on the right side of one piece of the fabric, kind of in the middle or where ever you would like and pin it down. Then take over to your sewing machine and sew around the edge of your mitten, be sure not to sew up the opening. And now you have mittens! Just have to sew a pillow now. Almost there, you can do it!
