Mounting a skateboard on a WII FIT balance board
I thought the WIIFIT needed something so I mounted a skate board on it, so I made this plate/board it fits over the WIIFIT and is attached with Velcro all parts bought at Home Depot, I included the part#s, cost $20 - $30 give or take. I take no responsibility for your use of this construct.
THIS MOD WILL CHANGE THE CENTER OF GRAVITY OF THE WIIFIT AND IT IS POSSIBLE TO LOSE YOUR BALANCE, AND FALL OFF, SO USE CAUTION AND CLEAR THE AREA OF OBSTICLES.
I have been using this for about 2 days and writing this to so as to take a rest, have tried it with Shaun White Road Trip and it works well I think, tried it with Snowboard Riot seemed so-so but the controls are different, would like to see how it works with SKATEIT. I get WIISKI AND SNOWBOARD this week see how it works. I used it with Shaun White then took it off to see if there was a difference and without it the WIIFIT seemed to not respond as well, rather sedate

Would it not have been better and easier to remove the wheels and mount the skateboard to the ply directly via the axles? (Lose points for CAPS LOCK) L

I wanted quick change ability, it is an evolving design first thought of U-bolts to mount but that could be a clearance problem, didn't want anything penetrating the plywood to mar the surface or damage the WIIFIT Kinda of the way I see this is a mounting plate for the WIIFIT, what is mounted of it is open to the imagination, built a second one for a Flowboard it does not move the same as the skateboard modification its the skate trucks that make the difference. I had heard of adaptor for a snowboard to WIIFIT, where this idea started, but as far as I know it has not happened
