Picture of WIND GeN
INTRODUCTION :This is my first instructable so please be polite in the comments section
Around three months ago my journey of making a light portable wind generator started.I had to experience several failures  but still i at last managed to make one named the WINDGeN(.initially i started with dc motors 1.5 v, 6 v ,12v (toy motors)after experimenting a lot i came to conclusion that these motors were not suitable for power generation as they were made to spin fast at low voltages for example one of the motor i had was rated 12v 2400 rpm when spun backwards gave me 0.66 v at around 150 rpm that wasn't a good result then thanks god i got a good alternative for them the stepper motors and i achieved some good results with it when  hand spun it produced around 6 v and 30mA current .SO NOW I WILL BE USING IT TO CHARGE BATTERIES OR LIGHT UP LEDS !!!
