Introduction: Wallet, Credit Card Phone Stand

This phone stand uses 2 credit or gift cards to make and fits perfectly in your wallet for when ever you need it. You'll need: Pencil Ruler Card Scissors Stanley or craft knife Electric and sticky tape Sand paper

Step 1: Model

First cut some card to the shape of your credit or gift card this will be used for a model for you phone.

Step 2:

On the card draw round your phone or iPod and leave a small gap around the phone. This will give it a snug fit when it is opened out.

Step 3: Cutting

When you have marked out place both cards on top of each other to cut both at once this will mean both are the same size. Cut with a Stanley or craft knife (please be careful as this is where finger ends get cut off) After cutting place both pieces, place then next to each other leaving a small gap between them. Then use sticky tape to hinge both pieces together.

Step 4: Model Test

Now the model is done test and make sure the phone fits well. Alterations are easier done at this stage. Once you have done that you are ready to start with the cards.

Step 5: Card Cutting

Using the card as a template use a Stanley or craft knife to mark onto the gift card. After marking it it is easier to use scissors to cut the lines and for the bottom score the lines and bend to snap off. Mark the second card and cut in the same way.

Step 6: Hinge

Place the cards with a small gap between them like the model. For the inside hinge I used electric tape for extra strength. On the outside I used clear sticky tape. Then use sand paper to sand the edges and make them smooth.

Step 7: Finished

And that's it, it fits perfectly into your wallet and you'll always have it with you when you need it. Thanks for reading and enjoy the stand. Any comments welcome and any ideas to improve just say
