Approximately...
-one cup walnuts
-4 tablespoons olive oil
-4 tablespoons honey
-3 pinches salt
-bread
-strawberries and honey for topping
-a blender or food processor


Step 1: Blend

Combine the walnuts, olive oil, salt, and honey and blend them. You may have to add more honey or olive oil or even a small amount of water for texture or taste. You should end up with the texture of peanut butter but with little pieces of walnuts.

Step 2: Smear

At the restaurant we tried this at they have us four simple steps to eating this walnut bitter! So after making the butter there are only a few simple steps left until this delicious snack is in your mouth!

Smear the walnut butter on any type of bread! It is really good on whole wheat which is also very healthy!

Step 3: Top

Cut strawberries into small slices and add them on top of the bread and walnut butter.

Step 4: Drizzle

Drizzle some honey onto the strawberries.

Step 5: Eat

Finally it's time to enjoy your delicious snack! Refrigerate the extra walnut butter for about a week at the most if you can make it last that long!
