Watch online TV on big LCD screen

Watching television on big screen is a real joy. Online TV is getting better and better every day.It is easy to watch internet channels on the big  High-Definition screen.  Quality of video and audio signals is very good.
There are many free online channels. Some of online channels require subscription for watching. There are also some software that can help you to watch online TV .
In this instructable I will show how to watch online TV on 42 -inch LCD TV.
First, I installed wireless router. That way, I can place my laptop close to LCD TV   and have internet on it without running  messy CAT5  cable.

Step 1

Then I connect one end of HDMI cable to  output HDMI connector of my laptop.HDMI cable connects video and audio signals from laptop to the LCD TV. Therefore, we need only one cable for connecting both: audio and video.
It is also possible to connect your computer to TV with DVI cable. This way we have also high quality HD video on the screen since DVI cable connects digital video signal. DVI cable connects video signal only, so we will need additional cable to connect audio signal.We can use cable with mini audio jacks (3.5 mm or 2.5 mm) or cable with standard RCA connectors for connecting audio signal from your computer to TV.
In addition, there are two more options of connecting computer to the TV. This way we connect ANALOG video signal with VGA or S-video cable. Of course, these cables connect analog video signal only so we will need additional cable to connect audio. We can use cable with mini audio jacks (3.5 mm or 2.5 mm) or cable with standard RCA connectors for connecting audio signal from your computer to TV.

he did not mention Satelite Direct TV at all if you been burned from getting tv online well that is really your own problem, but for people who do not know how to use a laptop on tv this is easy for them to follow i been using the internet for TV , Movies since my second video card 18 years ago.

so Claudiordgz Rule of thumb of the internet if its not free its probley a scam!, because if you know how to google it seems you have some idea of that then you would know and find that everything can is free.

but if you enjoy the content of what you have downloaded i think the right thing to do is buy it.

In this instructable I am using D-Link DIR-825 wireless router and Toshiba 1080p 42-inch LCD TV.
I watched several HD movies from my laptop on the big screen and quality of video and audio is excellent.
