Introduction: Water Bottle Lantern

About: I'm a musician, maker, wannabe YouTuber, introvert, and above all a crazy cat guy.

This is a fun and easy project you can make with things you already have around the house.
I'm very sorry about the lack of a thumbnail image. I promise I'll fix that as soon as a get a good photo of the lantern in action.

You'll need:
-A water bottle
-Water
-Barbecue lighter
-Screwdriver
-Hot glue gun
-Nail

Heat the nail and use it to bore a hole through the water bottle. Disassemble the lighter and remove the gas tank. Place the gas line nozzle inside the bottle and secure it with a bead of hot glue. Fill the bottle with water, press the valve, and light the lantern!

It's actually very affordable. I was able to make this with things I already had aroound the house.

Thanks! With the valve turned up, It should probably run for about 1 minute before it needs a refill. I recommend only running it for about 10 seconds at a time though. (you don't want to melt the plastic.)

That's what I thought, fun but short ... like a lot of things...
