Introduction: Watercolor Painting

This is a large 20"x24" Sakura ink drawing I did on Arches paper. The detail on the fish was created using Zentangle. When the drawing was finished I painted my summer fishes using Grumbacher watercolors.

I did the drawing first of the fish on a large piece of arches paper, then just painted with watercolors. take a look at my newest Intractable in the hot glue gun challenge. It includes watercolors as well.

Very nice, Susan, would like to see your process. What is Zentangle?

> Creativeman...The Zentangle Method is an easy-to-learn, relaxing, and fun way to create beautiful images by drawing structured patterns.

Here are a few drawings in B&W before the painting. These are really considered ZIA's (Zentangle inspired art)

I looked at their site but they don't really show much...guess it's just a way to draw with a special pen, maybe i should look again...thanks.
