Introduction: Waterproof Your Device (temporarily)

I know you don't need an instructable to tell you how to do this, but I have nothing better to do so I might as well. As you may or may not have already realized by looking at the title, THIS IS NOT A PERMANENT SOLUTION. Please do not complain in the comments about the fact that it looks bad and that the ports are covered up. I recently went swimming. Being the idiot that I am, I left my phone in my pocket. It was a lake so there were no corrosive chemicals in the water. The phone is still drying out but I know it still works. After that experience, I began looking at waterproof cases, but soon decided that they were too expensive, bulky, and un-needed. I began looking around the house. I found some cling wrap and decided to give it a try. The touch screen still worked, and even though it looks terrible, it was cheap and effective. I only use it when I go boating and when I go to the pool. It is a universal waterproofer so it can fit on any device. It does cover up ports so it will not be possible to charge. Just throw it away when there is no danger of it falling into water anymore, and put another one on when you need it (please no condom jokes). Silicon cases still fit but I doubt that hard shelled cases would fit. I tried to upload a video of me dipping it in water but it said that the file was too big.
