This is my wedding gown. Currently on display at the Downriver Council for the Arts in Michigan. I had a renaissance themed wedding. I designed, patterned and constructed the gown myself.
The gown is made from 3 Martha Stewart tablecloths (the white with gold fibers woven through), gold and black sari material, black velvet to bind the edges. The trim down the front was a 2" velvet ribbon I cut into the shape, There are close to 200 swarovski crystals draped on the back, as well as many handsewn on to the neckline lace.
WOW I love this great job. I love the back
This is lovely, and would be treat for renfest.
Great dress, wish we could see more steps.
Really lovely! Would love to see some tutorials for your future projects!!
