Weekend Balustrail

Weekend Balustrail
Changing the way your staircase looks, sounds harder than it actually is.

Years ago our hand rail and balusters were removed to make the hallway look
more spacious, but when you have kids, or someones health deteriorates
then the risk of injury .. or worse makes you see things differently.

My shopping list was:
1x   Hand Rail
1x   Base Rail
12x Spindles
2x   Fixing Brackets
1x   Bottom Newel Post
1x   Base Post
1x   Ball Cap

The total came to around £140

The maximum space allowed between each spindle is 100mm (4in) and the
maximum height for the handrail from each step is between 900mm to 1m.

I didnt take any photos before fitting but the result looks pretty good
