Introduction: Welrod MKII V. 2.5

Hey guys. This is my Welrod MKII V. 2.5. It has all the same features of my first version, but it has a better mech, better sight position, and better handle position. No, I know that I did not take the advice of TheAwesomestDude and make it round, but that idea is kinda unfeasible.

This gun is, as I said, much improved over my first version, and is much fun to shoot. It is top loaded, and shoots yellow rods.

Pros:
Looks pretty close to the real gun (IMO)
Has good range: 40 ft.
Feels comfy
Is top loaded
Is better than V. 1.0
Front sight is farther back, and back sight is farther forward
Brand new mech
Instructable coming soon

Cons:
Handle is not really removable
Shoots larger size rounds than the original
"Feathered" ammo jams in the mech

So there you have it. A good gun over all. =D Tell me what you think, I love to here your comments.

author

=P ill start on mine in about a week cause i sprained my wrist =P

author

Oh, O.K. How did you sprain your wrist? 0.o

author

Playing Ga-Ga ball- and before you ask its a game where you're in a wooden octagon 12-16 ft in diameter, four ft tall and a soccer ball. If you get hit by the soccer ball anywhere besides the hands you're out. So- in other words i sprained it some time during that.

author

That game sounds epic. =D

author

its really fun and epic =D

author

Sounds like it. =D

Sweet bro! I love the design, I can't wait for the instructable.

author

Its coming. Would you do me a favor and make a review for it? Either an 'ible or a forum topic...

author

Sure thing, I'll make a photo instructable and write the review for it, personal pro's and con's, personal range effectiveness and general liking. you might expect to see it late next weekend or or the weekend after next (the 4th or 5th of may). This should be fun!

author

Good, good. I can't wait to see it. You drop me a note on my OB when you are done with it. =D

I like the simplicity of this. Something I can make semi easy and just play around with it.

author

That is EXACTLY what I want people to do with this gun. I would LOVE it if you took this and modded it to your advantage! Thanks, BTW. =D

author

Yeah, I also plan to review this once I'm done with my project.

author

Good, I was hoping you would say that. =D

Cool

author

Thanks. Hows that MTAR coming along?

author

You're welcome it's coming along pretty good

author

Good, I can't wait to see it. I would suggest, after your MTAR of course, that you create some smaller projects. It is truly the K'NEX pistols, as much as the K'NEX rifles, that make the K'NEX world go 'round. What do you say?

Ah, I used this gun in Medal of Honor: Rising Sun a lot. Man, that was such a good game. Good build, love it, as always! : )

author

Yeah, I liked that game a lot too. I am glad you like the gun. =D

nice!
it was worth it waiting for this

author

Good. I will start working on the 'ible soon. When you build it, I would like you to make a review for it...either a forum topic or a 'ible. Could you do that for me?
