Step 3: Filing your nails

You will get rough edges from the nail clipper so you must file your nails so they don't chip and they'll look good. Take a good nail file and begin to slide the file across the end of your nail. Don't go back and fourth because that will ruin the smoothness of it.
What sort of buffer do you tend to use? I've read other tut's and ible's out there saying to use a very fine emery board in some cases, but this seems like it'd be too damaging. I used to use any drugstore buffer I came across with the three step buffing on each side, but for just polishing I suppose a one type of buff would work well.
