Wheel Shooting Knex Gun Very Powerfull

Hello guys
I was making a knex gun and i thougt: why don't use wheels as ammunition ??
So here it is :

i made it and accidentally shot it while loading it and i was holding the front to stabilize it and it gave me a blood blister as well as slice my thumb;
TIP- dont hold the top of the barrel only the bottom cus this thing can misfire! ! !

i did that once as well after super gluing my fingers together building a model car i used my exacto to pry them apart (i dont know what i was thinking) and gave myself a minor slice

what do you mean with 'wheel thing' ? do you meen the amunision, that is just a basic wheel to shoot with :D

no that thing were you have to place the rubber band ( the front of the gun )

if you look at the last picture, you can see why there I needed but it is not an important part, it is just for some extra comfort at the handle.

WOW. Best gun i have made yet! Although the trigger is a bit unreliable how i built it but the use of my thumb can keep the wheel in place for enough time to aim and fire. Furthest distance gun i've got!

Thanks, I know the trigger is not that good, you must try my pump action shotgun, it shoots very good, the trigger is good, the mag is good, ...

Sorry the trigger is fine it was just my placing of the trigger elastic band! Also i put a grey U connector on top of the wheel and trigger as a safety catch. Works great while I am attaching the bands to the wheel. Your shotgun will be by next build once i get some more Knex!

how do u keep the actual trigger from falling off? it only supports the mech

This has been done before, but only a pistol version. The trigger is good, the same as the pistols one, but this one would be much more powerful. Wheels make very good ammunition for slingshots, they act like frisbees. I will build when I get home.

I reckon you could get 100 if you lengthened the barrel a bit, and used bigger bands... I certainly will try.
