Introduction: Whole Wheat Brownies
I make brownies quite often in this house; from brownies with chocolate, cocoa powder, to brownies with potato or banana, as this following instructable.
Step 1: Ingredients and Method
2 x 1/3 c cooking oil
1 1/2 c sugar
1 ripe banana, mashed
2 tsp vanilla essence
1 tsp almond extract
1 c cocoa powder
1 c whole wheat flour
2 tsp BP
enough slivered almonds
Preheat oven to 325 F
Beat eggs and oil for 1-2 minutes then pour in vanilla and almond extract.
Add in 1 c sugar a little at a time while keep beating.
Add in cocoa powder a little at a time while keep beating, followed with BP
Add in the rest of the sugar a little at a time, followed with mashed banana, while keep beating
Lastly, add in flour a little at a time, beat to combine.
Pour batter into prepared pan (greased and floured), then sprinkle with slivered almond, bake for 25 minutes.
Slice before serving (warm or room temperature)
