Quick, easy, delicious, this meal or snack hits the ground running thanks to using a prepared and inexpensive crust of pita bread. We find the whole wheat variety is quite a bit more tasty than the usual white flour types, and with a cook time of 20 minutes, hits those hunger craves where they live- fast.
A tablespoon of the olive oil base is spread around first, followed by any seasonings desired, we keep it simple with Basil and Oregano, so make it your way. Preheat the oven to 400 degrees F [205C]
We dice the topping choices (meatless) and simply grab a handful of the premix and smooth it out on the pita, and finish off with some mozzarella. Pop it in the oven for 20 minutes or so, let cool for about 3- 5 when done.

I now get generous with hot sauce on my pies while the wife likes hers as is.
