What you'll need:

  1. Base Shield V2 (SLD01099P) ~ $8.90
  2. Grove - Air quality sensor v1.3 (101020078) ~$9.90
  3. ESP-12E WeMos D1 WiFi uno based ESP8266 shield for arduino Compatible IDE (Bob Cai) ~ $6.20
  4. 1pcs /lot UNO R3 9V Battery Connector 9V battery clip for arduino in stock top quality (Jeff Ke) ~ $ 0.30
  5. 9 volt battery ~$ 2.0

Step 1: Connect the Base Shield to the D1 Board​

Step 2: Connect the Air Quality Sensor to the A0 Socket on the Base Shield

Step 3: Connect the 9 Volt Battery to the 9V Connector and Connect It to the D1 Board Power Jack

Step 4: Connect the D1 Using a Micro Usb Cable to Your Computer and Open the Attached Sketch Code File

Step 5: In the Sketch Code Replace the Xxxxx With Your Credentials

Step 6: Create an Account on Freeboard.io and Create a New Board

Step 7: Add New Pane on Freeboard - Select Gauge and Select the Data Source You Have Just Created

This kind of system would be great for monitoring the air quality in office buildings. Especially in closed offices.
