The Hen House is finally being assembled during a spot of very hot weather. I also put together a set of old lawnmower wheels on a small pallet wood frame to help negotiate the trees and bushes in the Garden. This device makes for easy transportation of the panels if, like us, you are planning on making them in the workshop. It would also be of invaluable use to someone assembling a hen house or Tiny House on their own.

Where is the best place to get free pallets from im dreaming of doing my ceiling and floors in them

Hi, I have actually written a post on this because so many people asked me (there is also a film included at the end which shows how to strip them down and a piece on how to decipher the pallet codes so as to make sure to get untreated wood) If you need anymore help please ask. All the best Andy -

http://thegreenlever.blogspot.fr/2011/11/how-to-collect-pallets.html#.U-ZlhKOiJB4

I've been collecting pallets in anticipation of building a new chicken coop. You seem to be a step ahead of me so I can save myself a lot of time (and materials) by simply watching all of your videos. Thanks!
That is the whole point, of me posting this stuff. Sometimes I get people writing... 'I like this idea, I'm going to steal it HA HA'.... and so I write back 'you can't steal it, I'm sharing it with you.' I have a pallet wood greenhouse video, it was a present I made for Sue three years ago, it has had a lot of views and in a lot of countries (it only cost 5 Euros to build so is accessible to everyone). I like to think of all those greenhouses that have been built from this design, maybe with an adaptation for a different climate and use, all the pallet wood put to good purpose instead of burned or buried and lots of people growing their own food. Great! All the best and if you want to, check out my blog posts on the Hen House and just ask if you need further info. Thanks for your feedback, much appreciated, Andy
bravo !
and nice music !
Thanks for your comment, much appreciated! You can pick up the link for the music, which is in the Public Domain in the details under this video on my Youtube channel - the link won't be active if posted here. All the very best from France, Organikmechanic aka Andy.
Its nicer in there than it is in my shed!!
Thanks! We are going to be living in one of these once we sell the house, so we wanted it to be cosy. Plus the chickens are very particular, it has to be as good as, or better than the one I made for the other flock, LOL!! Best Wishes and thanks for dropping by, Organikmechanic aka Andy
