Wooden Whale Tidy

Testy testy.

Whilst this isn't an entirely new product - I'll be honest, I robbed the idea from the interweb.  It was retailing @ $60 for a bit of wood with some slots and holes, I thought 'Why not'..

The result - See pics.

Tools/Equipment:

Morticer (could use tenon saw and chisel instead) for 'tail' and 'mouth'
Forstner drill - 'blow hole'
4mm drill bit - Eyes
Blue wood stain/dye

*Full steps to be included at a later date - basic woodworking skills needed*

Awesome idea! You could put note cads into the tail and the mouth, too. Maybe incorporate a stapler in the mouth.
