How to make a WoW stuffed animal from paper craft. This project was inspired from my new media art class in making a piece of interactive art. My cat contained a squeaky toy.

Step 1: Materials

You will need:
Material
Stuffing and beanie craft beans
thread
needles
scissors
pencil
glue
pins
papercraft

Step 2: Getting the Papercraft

Find some paper craft that you like! I found this cat from the unoffical world of warcraft papercraft site. It was helpful because it had numbered tabs and edges. I also resized all the pieces by 200% on photo shop to make it easier to sew together. print out an extra set of plans of paper craft to put together so you don't get lost.

Step 3: Cut Out the Pieces

Cut along the edges and white tabs.

Step 4: Tracing on Cloth

Turn material upside down and place the paper piece upside down on top of the material.
Use some sewing pins to hold it in place as you trace along the edges in pencil.

Step 5: Cut It Out

Cut along the lines you just made.

Step 6: Tabs

When you have finished cutting it out mark where the tabs were to help you in the sewing process.

Step 7: Papercraft

When you have cut out the the material it is helpful to put together that piece in paper to see how to sew it together.

Step 8: Sewing Process

Line the bottom of the white tabs with the fabric edges

Step 9: Sewing

Use pins to keep the fabric in place. Sew along the line.

Step 10: Sewing

Sew all the tabs. make sure to follow the paper craft closely so it turns out right.

Step 11: Sewing

This is what it looks like when its right side out.
This was apart of the tail.

Step 12: Stuffing

Once you have sewn all the pieces together leave a spot open to add the stuffing.
I made my cat into a beanie with only the head stuffed with stuffing.

Step 13: WoW Cat

The finished polygonal cat.

oh my god this is so awesome how long did it take to make
This is so cute! I may have to use this at some point, since I'm not a huge papercraft fan, BUT I like papercraft for the accurate polygon game models that come out of it. Additionally, doing it your way ensures you get a 100% accurate model. I like it! <br> <br>Thanks for making this :D <br> <br>
i wonder how this would work with other papercrafts...
kool XD<br /> now if u could get the paper-craft layout printed onto cloth then that would be kool :)<br />
you could actually print the design onto iron-on transfer paper, then iron the design directly onto the fabric =) as long as you made sure the pattern was only on the inside of the fabric it wouldn't show up and would make getting all the pieces the right shape a lot easier =)
ausome i got to do this some time<br />
