Xbox 360 Rumble powered rapid fire mod

Easy way to mod your xbox 360 controller without all the fancy microchips and is still undetectable

Step 1: MATERIALS

T8H security tool
Sauter gun
sauter wire
sauter paste
momentary push button (x1 per controller)
18 Gauge wire (x2 per controller)
MAKE SURE YOUR CONTROLLER HAS THE BLOCK RESISTOR SHOWN IN THE PICTURE AS A LITTLE SILVER OVAL SHAPED BLOCK IN THE MIDDLE OF THE CONTROLLER FOR THIS TO WORK

and it has to be on the front of the controller? (crystal oscillator) i have two wireless controllers, both different inside, neither one has that thing on the front but they both have it on the back.

Could be that "resistor" is really a crystal or an oscillator module.

does this work for gears of war 2? i tried to do it to my controller and it just goes mental any help would be apprciated. i connected the wires right and and made sure they dont touch but i cant use my right trigger at all and the thing just has a mind of its own. could you tell me how your supposed to use it and maybe any ideas as to why it isnt working for me? thank you

check the push button you used. If the button is a CLOSED connection when you press the button you will stop shooting. Make sure the button you hook up to the controller is a OPEN connection so therefore in order to close the connection (fire your gun) you have to press it. :)

Look dude thats not a resistor block its a crystal oscillator, which is for clock signals... lol just so you know

would it help if you cut off the half wheel thing on the moter so it could spin faster thus faster shooting

i found that by removing the rumble pack (motor) completely it causes the mod to shoot faster... you could leave the motor on but its not required and it just gets in the way for me...the motor should pull right off of the plugin no problem just be gentle with the plug in and the circuit board

As long as the game you are playing has vibration enabled the mod will work regardless of quadrant thats lit up

 nice mod i did this but its not as fast as i would like for the FAL or the pistols, but the snipers are super fast

yes the snipers are very fast and thats a plus especially if you fire in short bursts. Try adding a silencer to the FAL and pistols (especially the usp .45) and that increases the rate of fire and speed of the modification.
Also you can use for the FAMAS, M16, and M93R to keep firing instead of pulling the trigger after each 3R burst

I liked this method over the one of soldering it to the LED.  Too easy to burn out an LED if you screw up... I did that to one of mine X_X

Plus, this should work regardless of what player quadrant is lit up, right?
