Yep so I have the opportunity to work on a new bike so Im going back to the basics and cover some of the things I have not in the past. Today, we are doing a simple exhaust install here at Techshop San Jose. I chose to use a Yoshimura R77 carbon fiber for this instructable.

Step 1: Lets rip it off!!

First thing we need to do is remove the stock heat shield with an allen key.

Next we unbolt the stock exhaust clamp which is located between the exhaust pipe and headers.

After that, unbolt the exhaust from the exhaust hanger mount.

Go ahead and yank the whole can out!!

What kind of bike were you working on here? Looks amazing by the way, keep up the good work!

That's a Yamaha FZ8 sir and thank you.
You're welcome! ?
Beautiful photos!
why thank you!
Why are todays mufflers so big and ugly ? I have two Classic Brittish m'cycles and their mufflers are so easy on the eyes! They sound awesome too!
