Ingredients:
3 Cups of boiling water
1 cup dried split peas
1 tbs Chicken or vegetable soup powder
1 chopped onion
3 cloves chopped Garlic
salt and pepper for flavouring

Step 1: 1st Step

Saute onions and Garlic on high flame, constantly mixing till the onions start browning.

Step 2:

When slightly browned add 1 cup of dried peas and saute for 3 minutes.

Step 3:

Now add 3 cups of boiling water and 1 heaped Tablespoon of Soup powder.

Step 4:

Add salt and pepper to taste. Now cover the pot and let simmer for 1 hour till the peas get really mushy.

Step 5:

Now you only need to serve and enjoy!!!
If you want some more calories you can always add grated cheese on top!
