This is my first instructable! I decided to enter the Zip Tie Weekly Challenge!

Basically using Zip Ties and Anchors we will build a basket for holding stuff.

I personally use it to hold my solder, wick, and electrical tape.

Since these are intended to be disposable, temporary containers, this is a GREAT way to make a non-disposable container. Way to go, BladeFrye! Now if we could only make them more attractive.

As my daughter says, "Add rainbows and glitter, it makes EVERYTHING pretty!" Although I'm not sure that will work here, hmmmm maybe some Krylon Spray Paint, and an entry into the 2nd Annual Krylon Summer Contest!!!

I hate to see zip ties wasted, sorry but I would have gave 5 stars had you made this of something useless. For the cost of the zip ties you could go to the dollar tree and buy a basket for less. Or make one from useless junk.

Boooo! its a fun little project, and yes yer right.. but Boooo!

zip ties are cheap as dirt, in my old profesion of automations technition, they were often times used as temporary tie downs for any sort of thing that needed to be tied down. we would use electrical tape to tie down wire harnesses as it made pulling a 500+ foot long harness so much easier.. but I assure you, if you think THIS is wasteful of zip ties, than I hope you never go to a work site anytime soon..
this project exemplifies some of the weird uses we would come up with the things during hold times.

Well said Beergnome!

Ray Jr., I would also like to point out that zip ties are used to "hold" things in place, well these ones are holding items in their place (in effect), they are just not "tied" as they were specifically intended to be!

Take a breather, gees. The instructable its self is great, well planed, nice pictures, and a 5 star instructable. I guess I just never thought that stuff should be that disposable.

I've had to do that as well! They make good "cheap and easy" repairs for many things!
