All that with a simple zip tie, and a sticker.
Step 1: Step 1: Prepare the Materials
Then we will take a white sticker long as the ruler we want.
If you have a printer you can print the image on the pictures with a ruler, i made it to be on a 30cmx0.8cm zip, but you can modify it to get the size you need.
If you don't have a printer you can make it yourself as I did.
Put the sticker under the ruler, and mark each milimeter (or inch). Draw bigger lines for the numbers and the halfs to help the user get the lengths, and finaly draw the natural numbers each centimeter (or inch).
Step 2: Step 2: Setting Up the Components and Using Them!
Now, you can mesure the length of everything around you, and if you use the head of the zip to adjust it, you will be able to easily compare lengths between different things!
Hope you like it and helps you : )
I would love to know what do you think about it and if you use or even how would you improve it !
