Introduction: (2015 Update) Zip2 Review

Picture of (2015 Update) Zip2 Review

(Update I deleted everything because I realized I did not do a real review the first time)

So here it is, JonnyBGoods Zip 2. I absolutely loved this gun! Now to the review.

Range 7/10
The range on this gun was pretty good considering that you could only get one band on each ram. I consistently achieved about 40-50 feet outdoors.

Looks 6/10
The looks are all right, I loved the front portion but the stock kind of degraded the value of the looks though. This is more of a concept gun anyway so I don't think Jonny really aimed for great looks even though it's a good Looking gun.

Comfort 8/10
Every thing was pretty comfortable. The only issue I had was there were like 2 blue rods that stuck out on the pump that was a little unpleasant to hold.

Sturdiness 7/10
The front portion was sturdy as a rock but the stock was pretty flimsy. Overall though it was not a big problem

Reliability 10/10
This thing is very reliable, I shot well over 200 rods through this and not one ever gave trouble.

Concept 10/10
I mean come on, it's a double barrel dual trigger pump action beast. Not much more that I can say other than I love the Concept if you can't tell:)

Overall score 48/60

Conclusion
I really enjoyed this gun, I will definitely
Build this gun again in the future and definitely recommend that you go build it yourself. I promise you won't be disappointed, just as long as you build it correctly.

Nice! Thanks for the review! I'm glad you went back through and gave more feedback, which I will deffinitly consider for my next Zip!

You got a typo in your conclusion you may want to fix " you won't be dissapointed"

Alright looks good! Glad you enjoyed it as much as I did. (Still have mine) What do you think the angle should be for zip3

The only thing I guess i would improve is make the pump a little stronger and make the stock sturdier. It would be awesome if you could make a 12 round mag for it. I would improve it but I have 3 green rods left

Okay, so a stronger pump and a sturdier stock, the only plan I had so far for Zip3 was removable magazines. Thanks though, I'll definitely try to fix those areas.

That would be awesome if you put removable mags on it?

Sorry it's supposed to be a ! Mark instead of a ?

Yeah I know! Just trying to put it together is the hard part.

Hey this is just s suggestion but it might be easier to make one mag with two slots for bullets instead if two mags
That's just my thinking

Well this is for Zip3 which is still being planned. I'm not sure I'll keep the dual barrel feature. That being said it's not out of the question that a triple barrel concept hasn't crossed my mind. Regardless I would use one magazine for the gun instead of multiple. I was thinking about the same thing.

Well at least we both have a similar idea floating around in our head of your going to have 3 barrels 3 triggers would be aggravating so what if you had one trigger that you pulled once to fire the first barrel a second pull to fire middle and a third pull to fire the last barrel
If you like this idea I will try to make a concept for it

I really like the idea! It's just how would that be executed?

Well I've got an idea gong around my head and I've got the trigger thought out but it would not be able to much pressure at all I'm still designing the mech

Sounds good! I want to see how this will work.

You should make this a forum topic since it's not your design, it's just a review. But thats my opinion! Anyway looks awesome

...Maybe you could tell us a little bit more about the gun...?
