This is a design for a simple yet effective grenade. It uses vinegar and baking soda to make Co2 which pops the bag.

nice concept... Except that you should realy either hot glue or duct tape the bag close, hot glue works the best, and use a bigger bag , a lot more vinager [a cup of vinigar works best ,and alot of bakeing soda [use a cup to a cup and a half. good instructable though.

I used to make these...Instead of press-seal wrap, I would put about 1/8-1/4 cup of vinegar in the bag, then fold up about a tablespoon of baking soda in a paper-towel burrito. The vinegar soaking through the paper towel gave it a few seconds' delay.

i did this in the winter with snow on the ground and food coloring in the viniger.then i threw it in the air right before it exploded and it made my back yard pretty colors.

I like the fact you have to pop it instead of the other way where you have to pull the inside bag open and turn it upside down.
Oct 2, 2006. 2:53 PM0.775volts says:
This is actually very clever, and if you wanted a louder pop, you coudl just add more vinegar and baking soda, then duct tape the whole bag. innovative use of press 'n seal. oh, and leave the bb's out, it's just a waste of space.
Oct 1, 2006. 8:38 PMpaper warrior says:
use more materials in three bags with bb's
