Zipper Purse

Zipper Purse
A zipper purse is a purse made only of zippers. You can open it from any of the 10 different zippers it's made from. It's not the most comfortable thing around, but it's funny and easy to make.

I saw one of these in a store and even as someone who's pretty unskilled on a sewing machine I figured I could make one pretty quickly as a present for my wife. If you already know your way around a sewing machine, that's probably the case. As for me... well, the next time will be faster.

Thanks to scoochmaroo for showing me what a zipper foot is.

Step 1Get Zippers

Get Zippers
Find an even number off identical zippers. I made my zipper purse out of 10, but you can use more. You can also use longer or shorter zippers if you want.

GASP!
I have a zipper purse/backpack thing that I bought at Pier 39 in San Fran last summer.
It was pretty expensive- in my opinion.
30 bucks.

I'm going to have to make one of these babies.

ahahahah. this is exactly like the ones in Smiggle (a stationary store that sells rubbers and stuff that smell nice). They cost like $7 for a small one and they're pencil cases.

My daughters just bought zipper bags in Boston. Theirs are made from one zipper that is about 200 inches long unzipped. When you zip it it makes a large bag.
