Step 1: Ingredients

P9170391.JPG
For this amazingly unforgettable recipe, you'll need:
(in no particular order)
Bacon
Ground Beef
Bread (potato works best, hamburger buns are too small)
Ketchup
"Boring" barbecue sauce
"Exciting" barbecue sauce (I'll get into these two)
Sharp/ Extra Sharp cheddar cheese (8 oz)
A medium-large bowl
A saucer
Flat surface
Parchment paper
Knives
Cutting Board
Cheese Grater
Frying pan
Whole lotta paper towels.

Optional:
Cinnamon
Oil
Vanilla (cinnamon, oil and vanilla make the best bacon ever)
Pepperoni
Vegetables
Actual Brains.

Skills needed:
Ability to play with fire safely
Ability to cook (to some extent)
Not be squeamish when mushing up ground beef
A strong will to not eat up all the bacon before it's cooking time

Idea - If you cover the patty with Cling Film before you press it with the saucer, then the saucer will come off easily.

WHat about the bacon? What do you do with it?
hi3213214 in reply to KryptoTSDOct 1, 2009. 10:02 AM
you ground it and put it into the burger i guess?
falcotheimpaler (author) in reply to hi3213214Oct 1, 2009. 11:39 AM
yes, you chop it, fry it, then mix it in with the meat
KryptoTSD in reply to falcotheimpalerNov 7, 2009. 2:40 PM

Honestly, this is my favorite comment. I like your style.
thartaros in reply to falcotheimpalerOct 31, 2009. 6:37 PM
i just barely tried this burger. it is AMAZING. i added a little bit of soy sauce with lime to the patty as it was cooking at it turned so out juicy. 10/10

P.S. After chompin this baby out, wash it down with a root beer float. i make my floats with orange sherbet ice cream and coke or cream soda

That bacon idea sounds really tasty by itself but then bacon by itself is hard to resist.... The burger sounds good as well but you certainly like to mix and mix and mix ! The less you mess with the ground meat the better but to each their own... Why dirty a bowl to cut out a burger? Just form a good size meatball and squash it ! Altogether a really nice ible...
TechNerd1012 in reply to l8niteOct 9, 2009. 8:08 AM
i think that a bowl is used so it forms a nice, evenly round patty
TechNerd1012 says: Oct 5, 2009. 4:04 PM
about how many burgers does this make? (the amount you show in this instructible)
falcotheimpaler (author) in reply to TechNerd1012Oct 5, 2009. 5:21 PM
depends on how much meat you have. 1.5 pounds yields 3 full burgers and one baby, or 2 full and 2 juniors
TechNerd1012 in reply to falcotheimpalerOct 7, 2009. 6:03 PM
oh, ok thanks :)
Trogdayton says: Oct 2, 2009. 3:26 AM
okay, I gotta ask... what the hell is the second piece of bread on the bottom for? making a double decker? omg, I've got to do that. I could sell these things on the street corner. Good Idea man!
Trogdayton in reply to TrogdaytonOct 2, 2009. 3:29 AM
ah,nevermind. I read further in the comments. that's a pretty nifty idea actually. good lord, if I made it a double decker, I'd have to have... 5 pieces of bread?! or do we not care about one in the middle so much?
TechNerd1012 says: Oct 1, 2009. 4:55 PM
ha, primitive lobotomy good ible
HPLovecraft says: Oct 1, 2009. 7:47 AM
It is much much easier to cut bacon while it is frozen.
falcotheimpaler (author) in reply to HPLovecraftOct 1, 2009. 11:40 AM
this is true, but I don't buy bacon frozen, and there's NO way i'm EVER going to wait for bacon to do anything but get in my mouth. it's a travesty to wait for bacon.

falcotheimpaler (author) in reply to chrweiOct 1, 2009. 11:38 AM
haha YES! my kitchen was lacking work surfaces, and all i had laying around was one of those modular wire racks everyone seems to have. it just happened to fit, and there you go.

Great read, very entertaining and sounds delicious! My only issue ... I'll have to wait until the wife is out with her friends to make this for the kids and I. That's a heart attack waiting to happen. YUM!
piperjon says: Sep 30, 2009. 4:04 PM
Its... BEAUTIFUL. Lo, the bacon, it adds a beautimousness heretofore unseen by the likes of a carnivore! :-) Well done!
