Look at the next few pics at the bottom to see my AK-47 walmart shotgun mod =P it's so cool.

Step 1: Get Your Suit

gather your materials and guns

What you should take to the battle ground:

a main gun
a secondary or backup gun like a pistol
camo, snow camo, or regular street clothes
2 or more magazines for each gun
a paintball mask or regular saftey goggles
500 or more BBs (depending on the game length and how many people are playing)
a backpack or something to hold your gear in.

If you are a sniper, take the stuff that I have listed below

what i take:

ghillie suit
sniper rifle
pistol
paintball mask
goggles
bbs
backpack
boots
extra magazines

Step 2: Find a Spot

Find a nice spot in the woods to lie down in or get into your fort. The best place to be is behind something to prevent getting hit. I prefer the fort because it is way up there and you are covered by the walls and ceiling. And there is still a window to shoot from.

If you are in a place where there are either no forest nor open space, use plywood to make walls skids or pallets work too.

To make the walls just simply lean the plywood against something and drill a hole in it big enough to see and shoot from.

Step 3: Take Cover

Cover yourself if you get into trouble and then shoot when you get the chance. Like I said before the best spot to be is up high. But if you are low, stay low and run away shooting. Try to run around things to block you, and run in zig-zag lines to make it hard for the other person to hit you.

Step 4: Make the Game Fun

mix airsoft in with capture the flag and other games to make it way more fun. trust me its awesome!

Capture the Flag:

Get two teams with at least 2 people on each team. Then get two "flags" easily made from any fabric or bag.

Next, make your battle plan and base.

Then, make sure the flag is hidden, but it still has to be showing.

Then, have half or a quarter of your team guard the flag while the others try to capture the flag.

If you get shot 2-3 times you will need to go back to your base and try to get the flag again.

Step 5: What FPS You Will Need

the FPS (feet per second) is one of the most important things in airsoft. The FPS is how far your bbs will go every second.
runners: use pistols with around 200 fps
guards: use shotguns with aroud 250-310 fps
snipers: use rifles with 400+ fps

Step 6: Where to Be

the next most important thing is where to hide

runners: anywhere possible
guards: around the place u should be guarding!
snipers: in tall grass w/ ghillie suit or about 5-10 ft in the air in a fort.

Dragunovs are based on AKs....although they are not made by Kalashnikov.

But you are right, Dragunovs are not AKs.

There is so much wrong here it makes me cringe, don't give advice if you don't know about it yourself.

    Dude i was 13..

i think you may be misinterpreting fps. yes it means feet per second but it only plays a small role in range, and thats what you truly want range.i am a juggernaut and i use a Thompson with 460 fps and a range of a bought 70 yards. believe me im an experienced player.

i think range depends on fps hugely, are you saying that with more speed the bullet isn't necessarily going to go further?

    im a sniper with 400 fps with a 4 * 15 scope

#1 TIP dont buy at walmart and if you do. Dont excpect it to last
