airsoft war-how to survive the fight

a how-to guide on airsoft. made for beginner airsofters and veteran experts.

Step 1: Appearance

this is here you get to play dress up. it sounds really girly, but it is mainly for intimidation.(it would scare you to death if you saw a guy fully decked out in a S.W.A.T. team uniform bust through your window. you may see veterans at a local field wearing full range ghille suits and combat vests. it all depends on your surroundings. for in-door battles, you don't need camoflauge. something black like a hoodie with goggles, a vest and knee and elbowpads would be perfect. for a home made vest, take an old, black or dark green backpack and cut out all the attatchments-like the waterbottle holder and other pouches. then, stitch or hot glue them to your hoodie-make sure its old so the at your house gets mad, and ta-da! your home made vest. I used the back pack material because it's loud so i know when i'm shot. for a wooded enviroment wear a camoflauge jacket and pants. to go the extra mile, use a ghille suit-i made another instructable on airsoft sniping, check it out to make a homemade ghille suit. on to part 2...

First off, don't use .12's. Bad idea. And Crosman is terrible, LPEGs (low priced electric guns) are garbage for Airsoft Games. Good for backyard. An homemade vest? HA! Good luck getting laid on, but hey whatever floats your boat. Also, for you people trying to get into airsoft, DO NOT, I REPEAT, DO NOT get a sniper rifle for your first airsoft gun. It's not like Call of Duty. You should get a good priced AEG (Automatic Electric Gun). If you still feel like you should be a sniper, go on semi automatic. See how well you do with that. If you do great, go ahead. But I'm just saying I've seen way to many people say they want to snipe like on Call of Duty. NO. But the main thing about Airsoft is having fun. And remember kids... Make sure to call your hits and be safe! :)

When my friends and I play the average gun between all of us shoots at about 500 fps. The most is my friend's 1911 at 750 on the first shot (his dad is a cop). It's much more intense.

I got an idea if u lay low in a thicket of shrubs with a teamate till the enemy walks bye. After which you get out and open fire on them from the rear makes you a pussy

when i have wars heres my weapons Primary- a panther M4 AEG with 320 fps or my M14 sniper (which isnt working going to fix) wich is spring but has about 400 fps Secondary- my P99 spring pistol with 300 fps and has a big mag or my MP5 AEG which is about 200 fps Other- normally dont take anything but when im at my field and were sniping i have an old WWII German folding shuvle (sorry dont know how to spell shuvle lol and im a freshman) i have a small sniping pit going and while i wait i like to work on it.

i'm the guy that when u can't see me is whe im the most dangerous.. everybody fears a sniper.. and its the funest job in a airsoft war. on my team there a 2 sipers me being one of them. i use a guhlie suit for camo ad wrap my gun in it.

ok first off your wrong you dont have them stack on both sides of the door you have them stack on one side of the door and you go in "faster than lightning" so you can get ou tof the doorway or fatal funnel cause they will shoot at the door once your breach. dont form your men in a box in the room you will risk friendly fire that way. if you want to keep this lay out have ether brown or black go to the far corners and have ether blue or green stay back to cover the door. if it were me it just toss a cooked frag in there and then move in. but over all good lay out just needs some refinements

i agree man! the smoke will blind u guys 2 and ur totally gona have some friendly fire. i got one of those airsoft grenades with a cylinder shell and role it into th room it works great!

Lol my main firearm in a airsoftsmith war is a tactical rifle and my sidearm I'd a stinger 32g shotgun. And my other gear......... A green backpack and I have a uniform for diffent seasons o and I have googles of course so good luck airsofters

You might want to be careful wearing a shemagh(thing in the picture) if you're not in a designated area for airsoft or paintball. The cops are a little touchy, especially if you take the orange tip off, and have an AK. you have been warned

When I have an airsoft war I have 1 theory that I will always live by and that is that "they can't kill you if they can't see you" when I play I always try to find a good spot and since I am a sniper I wear a ghillie suit. After I find a good spot and get myself camoflauged I just wait for the opponent to come to me. One thing you shouldn't do though is be a big coward always stay close enough to the battle so you can get some action too

when you clear a room you have 2 guys stacked up against the wall if there is a door you open yell flash bang in throw the flash bang close the door as soon as it goes of rush inside taking out whoevers inside i would recommend a mp5 for entering an clearing

wats the point of a rushroom tactic (RRT) youll obviously loose probably two three people idk but the odds of surviving an RRT is 1 to 1000000000 especially with all spring guns if its a low equip airsoft war now if you had all or mabe three people with full auto or even semi auto extended mag m5's or m16's you would make it alive and also have a scout posted at the entrance or a look out because obviously your gonna be blinded by the smoke too.
anyway wen you yell CLEAR or wat ever you yell more guys will hear AND as a result your trapped and dye so just have 5 people or DIE.

i sont really use a side arm because my gun is to heavy to drop and attemp to shoot my freinds i have a sprin m14 and they have shotguns and full auto and co2 tauruses its terrible out there

dont, minis suck, they run on double a batteries and they are like half sized.

I dual weild 2 crosman c-11 air pistols, they're semi-auto and fire at 430 fps (i can shoot a target from about 130 yards without being seen, or heard) and close range I usally grab my uzi (also a gas crosman) with a fixed valve so it does'nt leak after I go full auto on someone, the normal ones continue to empty your 12. gram after you've stopped firing. minis are good If you can find one with a fullmetal gearbox

i use my m16 as primary weapon pump shot gun as secendary weapon and a pistal for my third weapon

i have 3 pistols, 1 gas 1 spring 1 electric, i have a shotgun and a spring rifle and a sniper, and an electric rifle.

I use G36C AEG as primary and MK23 springer as backup, with a cheap tiny colt .25 as a backup to my backup

i use the colt .25 also, is your gas, and where did you buy it. mine sucks can barely shoot even with .12s.

any ggod ideas for non-explosive grenades, and any good ideas for less than dangerous smoke grenades?

for smoke grenades, its gonna cost a shitload without fire or whatever and non explosive gnades are hard to make without gas but mines are easy as hell, a rat trap or sumtin is easy for mines. check out the dominator or something like that, search airsoft and its on the right side of the first page.
