Tape the clothespin (or clamp) to one end of the pencil. make sure the clamp end is facing towards the opposite end of the pencil.

Use more tape to attach the bow to the other end of the pencil. See pictures for details.

NOTE: if you wrap another rubber band around the cloths pin, you can make make the clamp stronger. if that doesn't make sense, just ignore this - its not essential. try it if you are having trouble getting the projectile locked in place.

If you wish to prevent picture blur, use better lighting so your digital camera uses a sorter exposure. An instructable is only as good as its pictures.

dude lol i had none of the right equiptment...
i used no clamp thingy ittl be finger,
a sharpened pencil(up 2 papermate),
athing where u pull the pen out,
and a broken rubberband and it works fine
good job =D

i used an Mid sized office clamp instead of the clothing pin its stronger, and it stays closer to the pencil. the only problem is that its pretty wide, and hard to tape down
