I will show you how to make a simple,yet beautiful braided bracelet from an old belt without using any special tools,just some you can find at home or almost any local store.Here is what it should look like when we are done.

An old leather belt,a sharp knife and a short piece of rope.

I chose to make it tighter and smaller than other versions, to accompany other bands and bracelets that I may want to wear. Great design! It's awesome and fun to build! :)

cool! i have an old leather belt and now i know what to do with it:)
I once had a bracelet like this one, but the strip was intact on both ends. I tried for the longest time to figure out how it was done. Finally, i figured it out! one end is twisted and inserted through the strands to make the braid without fully cutting one end into the strips.

You're right. It can be done with both ends intact, but if you do it in that manner the braid isn't so tight.

That`s true but you can`t braid it so thight that way
I didn't think about that. I was just musing to myself that this braid looked so neat and tight.
