Introduction: Bushmaster M17s

About: I used to build K'nex guns. I'd like to think I've grown to be quite good at it, however, I've lost most of my interest in K'nex over my first couple of years in High School, but I do occasionally still come o…
hey guys !
this is my bushmaster m17s replica thats like 95% perfect as a replica, and also works really well too.

stats:
up to 60 feet with 3 #28 bands
not very accurate
packs a strong punch
looks awesome
spring loaded curved mag
mag release system
safety 100% reliable
uses a lot of broken parts (though a few can be taken off, if you don't build all the mechanisms)
uses at least 11 hinges, but none are necessary (all are for looks, to resemble the real gun which i replicated)
extremely comfortable and easy to use
short ram pull

hope you guys'll like this as much as i do (and i DO)...

here's a vid of it in action:
my gun

Step 1: Fore Grip Area

a simple step to get you warmed up...

Step 2: "scope"

another simple step.

Step 3: Handle/trigger Area

here it's starting to get tricky...

Step 4: Barrel

this part is generally a simple pattern with slight differences here and there. notice the differences... they are important.

Step 5: Stock

this is by far the hardest step, thats why it's saved for last. it contains pretty much all of the guns mechanisms (only one not there is the trigger itself). get this step over with and your done building the parts of the gun.

Step 6: Assembly and Band Placement

a simple step to end it all up with. to fire (explanation for the newbies), pull back the ram (blue rod in the gap at the back of the stock) until you here 3 clicks (1 - bullet, 2+3 - trigger). then, be careful when you shoot not to rest your face on the ram, and pull the trigger.

Step 7: Magazine

this is the curved magazine that holds 8 bullet (can be made bigger of course). if you want to make the regular magazine that is the same approximate size and can hold 10 bullets, just build it from the pics in the intro, and from the vid on my SABR v2 note on the v1 'ible.
