I finally welded
Still, polishing, grinding, chrome should be somehow
easiest ways? spray and acid?

I like the idea of a chain as the handle, but am not sure this is really a "pocket" knife as it would either cut your leg with the blade pointed down or cut your hand when you went for it if the blade was pointed up. If you make a sheath for this it would be eligible for entry in the Pocket Sized Contest.
