Cranberry Cocktail

Introduction: Cranberry Cocktail

This is a dead easy vodka and cranberry cocktail that you can make a little less alcoholic for the lightweights and it'll taste just as nice. Perfect for the holidays!

Step 1: Ingredients:

  • 3 oz cranberry juice
  • 1-2 oz vodka (depends on how strong you like it!)
  • 1/2 oz simple syrup (try making some cranberry simple syrup)
  • splash of grenadine (optional but pretty!)
You'll also want a nice glass, a shaker, and some ice. :D

If you want your cranberry cocktails to be super red, add a little grenadine to each.

Step 2: Mix It Up!

Put a handful of ice in the shaker and pour your ingredients in. (Keep in mind that 1 oz of vodka is pretty mild - use 2 oz if you want a stiff drink.)

Add a little bit of ice to the glass you'll be using, too! Shake the cocktail for a few seconds and pour over the ice. Enjoy! :D

2 ozs of vodka, that sure is a lot of holiday spirit.

    Look great! :D

One of your candied cranberries (or maybe a few on a toothpick) would be a great garnish!

I actually was looking forward to using them as garnish, but I realized I only had teeny toothpicks in the test kitchen and it turns out they were waaaaaaay too tiny for the glasses I had. Boo!

Next time I'm gonna get some plastic swords or something extra silly and bigger. :D
