touching the +5v and GRD of any usb device can cause unrepairable damage. capacitors, resistors and other common components will fry and if you haven't looked at a PS2 or PC mother board I'll let you in on a little fact. Most of these components are tiny. if you are dumb enough to do this go ahead prove me right. i did this by accident on a XN900 EPOS System, lost the touch screen and usb support £1500 worth of till system in the bin.
