Odd... Why after an hour? Is there any capacitors in the circuit?? Other wise leting it sit for an hour would probably have the same result as a couple of seconds...

How much did the toy cost? Maybe learn how to trickle feed a battery, get a few more panels, and use this as a night light or something.

So essentially your connecting an inadequate solar panel to a lamp. In order to make a minuscule amount of light every hour... Without sounding too coarse. Was it really worth making an Instructable for this?
