easyer and best pen gun

did u ever want a cool pen gun to shoot over 200+ feet without needing any springs or explosives? well this is the instructable for you! this is my first instructable i am not responsible for any thing stupid you do dont aim at animals or people ever!!!!!!!!! it is dangerous

Step 1 Gather items needed

Things u will need are scissors pen bic works ok wooden swewer they work best and an average sized rubber band

i hardened my skewer with a blow torch

When I shot it for the first time (in my house) I lost the skewer. Thanks a lot. I going to do something dumb with it now!

lastly, the bullet which is more like a dart. take the piece of a pen containing the ink and take the top of. wash all the ink out, (this will not stain a sink if it is not made of wood) use the tape to surround the bottom part of the dart so it won't split on contact with the rubberbands. stuff the duct taped end with a little bit of sticky tac and the upper part with even more. now, take the sewing needle and stuff the non pointy end down the tube, it should stick because of the sticky tac. place this inside the barrel and pull the rubberband back with the dart, it will go the length of the needle.

now for the handle. take a large piece of thin cardboard, and cut 2 parallelograms. now cut a long rectangle that is as wide as one of the parellelograms and twice one of their height. take the two parallelograms and tape them together. now tape those to an area of the barrel where you want to have a handle. take the rectangular piece and tape it on top of the other pieces so that the top part of the barrel is covered by it. tape so it is stable. now you are done with the handle.

i think i have designed a better gun, it is a combination of many different guns. use 5 rubberbands, sticky tack, cardboard, tape, sewing needle, water dispenser, a knife, and of course, a pen. take the pen apart and cut a large groove in one end of the barrel, this will be the back end of the gun. stretch four rubber bands across the barrel so they are parallel to the barrel, place one end of the rubberbands in that groove. take the last rubberband and wrap it around the front end of the barrel and the other rubber bands until it is tight. pull the rubberbands off the front end of the barrel, they should stay because of the rubberband you pulled around them. this is the main part of the gun.

this is actually one of the better "Pen guns" i have seen. I HIGHLY doubt it shoots over 200 ft. i would say MAX 50 (1 in a million) min 10 ft.Nice Work. -RA

i just made this but i used the ink tube becuase i didnt have a wooden sqewer and i had 2 rubber bands not just 1. it goes far but not as far as the sqewer would. i think it works alot better with 2 rubber bands. i even shot it about this far ------------ into the ground at about 3/4 power ad 50 ft at the most with full power. it is the best one so far
