Step 2: Installing the el wire around the clock

Start by drilling two holes next to each other on the top, feed the el wire through the first hole, then using hot glue make a circle around the clock and feed the wire through the second hole. Now secure the wire to the back with more hot glue.

How are you terminating the pieces of EL wire or are you running one single strand?

Really cool looking! Great job!
Well done. The clock turned out great. What would be cool to see is a sequencer to illuminate the clock based on the time as well. You get into a whole new realm of problems, but it would be neat to see!
El wire is awesome! Great job!
Thank you
Very nice !
Nice! Thank you
I tried this but it did not work at all.I'm a little disappointed but, what can I do
This is Amazing- love the concept! I'm going to work on this, think this would look great on my flashlight alarm clock.
Thank you
it'll be nice if you can figure out a way to light up the hands
I tried to but I could not figure out a way.
You should paint the hands with glow-in-the-dark paint then
Thanks for the idea.
Thank you
