A piece of leather cord, I had some already in house, make a loop, slip knot at hole next to watch body, pull though clasp to get length and cut a bit long. Elastic may be beneficial, but this stays even when loose and the knot is a safety, if holder-pin comes out. Although it has not yet come out. No glue or plastic used.
