How to create a Jack-O-Lantern using fischertechnik elements!

I play with different educational manipulatives for a living. (Visit www.weirdrichard.com).
Over the years I have built different holiday themed models using all sorts of toys.

This year I wanted to create a different looking Jack-O-Lantern. For those of you who do not know, a jack-o-lantern is a hollowed-out pumpkin lantern. The face of the pumpkin is carved in a wide variety of shapes. A Jack-O-Lantern is one of the common symbols of halloween!

Note: The CAD looking images were generated by LDraw/MLCAD and a fischertechnik elements library.

Step 1: Gather Elements

You will need to gather your elements. The fischertechnik elements are available from a range of kits available from ebay, Craig's List, or fischertechnik retailers.

Elements can be purchased individually from www.fischertechnik.com.

The List:

28 Angular Block 60 Degrees
16 Angular Block 30 degrees
7 Building Block 30
4 Building Block 15
2 Building Block 15 with 2 Pins
13 Angle Girder 15
14 Angle Girder 60
8 Angle Girder 30
3 Single Rivet 4
8 Building Block 5
6 Building Block 7.5

Note: this list can vary quite a bit. I experimented with different combinations of blocks and girders!
I do like your ft -ibles, but i cant help but think they could be helped with a final picture of an actual version? Good work.
Howdy, Thank you for the compliment. Here are a couple of final pics. Richard
wow! good job, the actual pics definitely look the best! looks so much cooler, its probably worth adding those pictures to your first/intro step. You will get more views as people are normally interested in actual pictures, rather than cgi when they are browsing!
