fun fridge magnets from advertisement magnets - an ecofriendly craft

Ever wonder what to do with all those advertisement magnets you have on the fridge? You know, the ones from the real estate agents, dentists, pizza places, car dealerships....well, now you can customize them to fun images of whatever you wish! This craft is great to do with kids too.

Step 1: Gather all your fridge magnets

Pretty self-explanatory: gather all the fridge magnets you don't any more.

You will also need:

white labels to print your images onto
extra white labels to cover your magnets' pre-existing images
packing tape
some fun images
scissors for cutting

Ahhh... upon playing with a couple magnets, I found that you can also peel off the printed layer. Thus exposing the magnet with adhesive. I used my laminater to seal a couple images before sticking them on the old magnets. Such fun.

Cool! :) I tried peeling some of mine, but that didn't work out so well. I was left with a very uneven surface of adhered paper, plastic coating and glue bits. So I found it easier just to go over the printed layer. Thanks for commenting. :)
