Step 3: Gear

the next step is your gear. I usually carry a belt with pouches for ammo extra clips and a water bottle. I usually carry five thousand extra rounds with me at all times because you will never know when one of your teammates is going to need ammo.

WIRE MESH
the mask I use is a wire mesh mask (recomended for battle with guns under 400fps)

PAINTBALL MASK
if you are playing airsoft with guns over 400fps I recomend a sertified airsoft/paintball mask

to buy my gear I usually just go down to the local army surplus store they have all you need for dirt cheap

Try getting a neoprene face mask (SKULLSKINZ) they work wonders just wear goggles!!!

ive got a 300 fps red dot sight crossman riffle and a h and k p30 blowback with semi and fully auto 180 fps ( fun for small battles ) what do you think is it a good setup?

get a AEG that is 350-380 fps and get a gas pistol then your setup will b better

wire mesh is okay if all uses goof wire meshs and high quality bbs

actuly i find spary and pray beter for aeg and 20 grams bbs cost alot

Yeah. the BBs essentially dissolve on impact, and then the wearer gets a face-full of tiny plastic shards and plastic dust. Wouldn't be fun.

AMEN BRO!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! My friend got sniped in the face when wearing a wire mesh mask and he had to get surgery on his eye to get little plastic bits of bbs out of it

Why not? they don't fog. do they blur vision?

No, but if you get shot with a high powered rifle close enough it will go right through the mesh.

My wire mesh mask works Exceptionally well for me. When all of my friends are busy taking time outs to wipe the condensation off of the inside, I'm over on the other side of the field lining up my sights...

Ur frinds mest have crap masks cause mine has enough breathing holes that it dont fog

lol wire mesh is horable! if your shot and the bb is heading toward ur eyes, the prt tht wont go though is sliced off then you'll get hit in the eyes.....hurts lots too (shot in eye). other then that, nice guide

wire mesh cuts up the bbs. making sharp spears of plastic fly into your eyes, WONDERFUL!

I get the 10k .12 gram Supersonic or the 5k .20 gram Airsplat ammo. The type of ammo depends on what guns you have, or your conditions i.e.: .20 g for wind or very strong guns (over 350fps), or .12 g for under 350 fps guns and good conditions.

yea the airsoft bbs can shatter and go into ur eyes
