halo battle rifle

How to make a halo battle rifle for 5 bucks or less. In progress.

Okay now gather your supplies

you will need,
-cardboard
-tape
-glue
-hot glue gun and sticks
-black and silver/gray paint

Optional
-Dollar store plastic gun
-Dollar store broom handle

Step 1 Step 2 - Cardboard & skeleton

what I did first was I printed out my blue print or red print in this case. I spread it out in my writing program and spread the image till it took up about three and a half pages. so about 35 inches.

then I cut everything that I didn't need from the mini gun and measured my barrel. I decided to use the broom handle like a skeleton, so I didn't need to to cut it any shorter.

using it as a guide, I carved myself out two sides of the gun in the cardboard and made some cardboard tubes to fill in the centre.
In the last picture you can see how I arranged my cardboard tubes around the broom handle and the mini gun.

--remember these items are optional you can still make a barrel, a handle and a trigger out of cardboard--

Wow that is great! I can't believe how dumb I am! I always try drawing a scale image of the part of gun I am replicating, when I could just print a large blue print -.- Thanks for the idea, and your gun is awesome.

Thats awesome. it probably looks great. I didn't put fiber glass on mine cause im trying to find a way to make cool things the cheapest way possible. I might put a layer of fiberglass on mine now that you mention it.
