then again the pelter generates ALOT of heat, i have a 168 watt one ind there is so much heat I need a watercooling rig to make it work, and i have yet to get my hands on anything with the power to cool it. just a word of advice

Peltiers use alot of energy to make a small cooling effect

Are you covering putting something between your lid and cooler? This last photo is confusing.

How many "frozen items" are you using in the cooler? Also, how long does it cool the 10x15 room?

I live in the Phoenix area and we are hitting 110 degree temperatures this time of year. I currently work with two floor fans and a ceiling fan circulating air in my office. I am thinking this Cooler A/C might be a good thing to undertake and cool my office with this instead of the two fans.

I was planning to make something similar to this for cooling my dog's port-a-kennel at events in the Texas heat. Simplicity is key, and I already have a battery-powered camping fan. My first sketches were kind of a cross between your first and second designs. How well does this one cool?

Hi. I would like to know if there is an advantage to having the fan mounted on the top as compared to having it on one end blowing straight across the ice or packs and then straight out through holes on the opposite end > seems like the flow would be less restricted

I think it would've been better if you put the holes more towards the bottom so the air has more contact with the frozen water battles and ice blocks. Anyways good job.
